Finding a palette that feels like home

Build a considered colour story from the materials you already love.

Natural textile texture
Interior notes · 02

Look first at the colours already in your space: warm timber, a favourite chair, a stone floor, or the tone of your walls. Curtains can draw these elements together without matching every surface.

Try a quiet neutral for continuity, an earthy tone for warmth, or a deeper shade to give the window more definition. Texture can add interest even when the colour stays subtle.

Place possible fabrics alongside the materials you plan to keep. The most useful palette is one that works in your actual room and feels comfortable to live with.
